One Beehive, One Shared Purpose
At Beehive Academy, we believe children thrive when every aspect of their development works together. Just as every bee has a unique role within a hive, each of our specialized hives contributes their own expertise while collaborating toward one shared goal—helping every child reach their fullest potential.
Rather than offering isolated services, Beehive Academy brings together multiple specialized academies under one roof, creating a truly collaborative approach to child development. Each academy focuses on a different area of growth, while our professionals work together to develop coordinated, individualized plans that support the whole child.
In addition to offering therapeutic services, Beehive Academy offers numerous programs designed for neurodivergent and neurotypical children alike. These programs act as supplemental learning, play, and socialization opportunities, where children can work together to learn skills and enhance learning opportunities.
While each academy specializes in a unique area of child development, they are never isolated from one another. Our clinicians and educators collaborate across disciplines, ensuring every child benefits from a coordinated, comprehensive plan that addresses communication, learning, behavior, social development, emotional growth, independence, and academic success. This integrated approach allows us to look beyond individual challenges and focus on developing the whole child.
Together, we are building confident learners, capable communicators, strong problem-solvers, and successful children—one meaningful step at a time.

Extracurricular Activities
Beehive Academy offers extracurricular activities designed to enhance learning various life skills in fun and creative ways with others. These programs include:
Tumbling Foundations: Designed for beginners, our semester-based program emphasizes proper technique, body awareness, coordination, flexibility, strength, and fun. We provide children with a safe and encouraging environment where they develop the foundational movement skills needed for gymnastics, dance, sports, and lifelong physical confidence.
Piano Lessons: A building program designed specifically for beginning musicians who are ready to explore the world of music in a fun, encouraging, and developmentally appropriate environment. We build the foundational skills and interest needed to take on learning music!
Dance Classes: Designed for children with little or no previous experience, our semester-long program focuses on building confidence while teaching the foundational skills that prepare children for future dance opportunities. We introduce beginning dancers to the exciting world of dance through fun, age-appropriate instruction in a positive and encouraging environment.
These programs are offered in a semester-long format throughout the school year and are designed as after-school programs.
Social and Play Groups
Children spend much of their week in structured environments filled with school, homework, and activities, yet many have surprisingly few opportunities to build genuine friendships, practice social skills, explore their interests, and simply enjoy being part of a positive community of peers. Beehive Academy recognizes the ultimate importance of social interaction and play opportunities for children, not only for learning and generalizing skills, but also for quality of life. We foster social and play opportunities across multiple specialized programs:
Friday Night Social Club: Every Friday and Saturday evening, Beehive Academy transforms into a vibrant social club where children come together to learn, laugh, create, solve problems, explore new interests, and build lasting friendships. We offer many different social clubs designed for different age groups. This membership-based weekly program allows children to build friendships by participating in fun and engaging opportunities with a consistent peer group. While children enjoy their own exciting evening with friends, parents enjoy the added benefit of knowing their children are participating in meaningful experiences that support healthy development. These groups are offered for early intervention, elementary, and adolescent ages.
Play Labs: The Play Lab™ is a semester-based developmental program where children participate in carefully designed play experiences that strengthen every area of development. Rather than simply providing toys and free play, our educators intentionally design activities that help children progress through the developmental stages of play while building communication, problem-solving, social relationships, and independence. Children can join as early as 18 months and transition through all stages of play as they grow, beginning with exploratory and sensorimotor play and then transitioning to functional play, symbolic and pretend play, then to associative play, and finally collaborative play.
These programs are offered in a semester-long format at varied frequencies dependent on individual need.
Parent Support Opportunities
Beehive Academy prioritizes parents; we recognize that, as the most important people in your children’s lives, your wellbeing, education, and support are just as important as what we provide!
Beehive offers parent groups and workshops, where parents can meet others who understand can are ready to share their experiences and support. These workshops also offer parents opportunities to learn important skills and foundational principles in a fun group setting. We also provide parents with a library of evidence-based resources and 1:1 training opportunities to enhance parent’s knowledge of the principles of behavior and learning we utilize at Beehive. And on the weekends, join us for Parents’ Night Out, where we offer respite and babysitting services to children from ages 4-10 years old!
What is our type of “Social”?
Our social groups are far more than simply children spending time together. We provide thematic, structured, and clinically organized group instruction designed to teach meaningful social skills in a purposeful way.
Each program is offered in semester-based sessions with clearly defined goals, planned agendas, and ongoing data collection to monitor progress and outcomes. Our curriculum targets the essential components of successful social development, including relationship building, conversation skills, problem-solving common friendship challenges, peer coaching, group participation, appropriate social behaviors, perspective-taking, inferencing in social situations, and creating a sense of belonging within a community.
Through guided practice and evidence-based instruction, children gain the tools needed to develop friendships, navigate social situations, and build lasting confidence with peers.
At Beehive Academy, we believe every child deserves access to exceptional developmental, educational, and therapeutic services. Our goal is simple: to remove barriers so children receive the support they need to communicate, learn, build friendships, become more independent, and thrive.
