What is Applied Behavior Analysis?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach to understanding how children learn and how teaching strategies can be used to help them develop new skills. ABA focuses on meaningful outcomes that improve a child’s quality of life. Instruction is individualized, data-informed, and designed around each child’s unique strengths, interests, and developmental needs.
At Beehive Academy, therapy is engaging, motivating, and centered on helping children succeed in everyday situations. Our ABA services include comprehensive behavioral assessments, individualized treatment planning, Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI), social skills groups, executive function coaching, daily living skills instruction, parent and caregiver training, school consultation, community-based instruction, transition planning, school readiness, and summer programs.
Every child is unique, which is why no two ABA programs are the same. At Beehive Academy, treatment is individualized to each child's strengths, interests, developmental level, and family goals. Who qualifies for ABA at Beehive?
Our ABA services may benefit children who experience challenges with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, communication, attention and focus, daily living skills, social interaction, emotional regulation, executive functioning, learning readiness, flexible thinking, and school participation. Each child receives an individualized assessment to determine appropriate goals and services.
Whether your family uses private insurance, Medicaid, state-funded programs, or private pay, our team is committed to helping you understand your options and connect with the services that best meet your child’s needs. Services are offered in home, in school, in community, and in clinic-based settings.
Who delivers ABA services at Beehive?
Every ABA treatment plan is developed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who completes comprehensive assessments, designs individualized treatment goals, monitors progress, and collaborates closely with families and other professionals. Direct therapy is provided by highly trained Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)working under the supervision of the BCBA to ensure services are delivered with consistency, compassion, and clinical excellence.
As part of Beehive Academy's multidisciplinary approach, our ABA team collaborates with Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, educational specialists, and families to ensure every child receives coordinated, comprehensive care. Together, we help children develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need to thrive today and into the future.

Vocational Programs
Programs for older children are offered on weekends or after school, bringing in local experts to teach lifelong skills needed for jobs, independent living, and adulthood, such as cooking, cleaning, computer science, etc.
Social Groups
Social groups are offered on weekends or after school for a variety of age groups and focus on group, social, and play skills needed to build connections and make friends.
Parent Support and Workshops
Unlike other ABA providers, we do not use a solely 1:1 parent training approach; in addition to individual parent training, we also offer parent support groups and workshops, allowing parents to connect, learn, and build a hive together.

Rapid Response
Our school-based rapid response behavior team ensures that all school-based needs are always met quickly, with a BCBA onsite within 72 hours and assessments completed within 10 days, as well as RBT support, staff coaching, inclusion rescue plans, and outplacement prevention.

Beehive Academy abides by the best practice standards set forth by the governing entities responsible for overseeing ABA, including all ethical, clinical, and operational standards that have been proven to enhance quality of care.
