Dance offers children the benefits of rhythmic instruction, engaging them through movement while supporting timing, coordination, and listening skills. We offer parents the opportunity to connect with other families in similar situations, creating a supportive community of shared understanding and encouragement. Along with our tailored parent training sessions, parents can socialize, exchange experiences, and support one another throughout their journey.

Our thematic and structured language and social groups provide children with engaging opportunities to develop communication skills, understand important social cues, and practice behaviors essential for everyday success. These groups help children build confidence, form meaningful relationships, and develop the skills necessary for a strong quality of life.

We offer basic music lessons for clients at our clinic to support learning in a fun and engaging way. Music has been shown to benefit speech development, verbalization, pre-literacy skills, and rhythm. Through music activities, clients also practice attending to specific stimuli, increasing attention and focus, and developing new skills.

Group learning helps children prepare for the school setting by building routines, participation skills, and classroom readiness. It allows children to learn with and from peers through shared activities while practicing appropriate behaviors within a group, such as listening, taking turns, following directions, and cooperating with others.

Throughout the year, we offer field trips for eligible clients to historical and educational sites across the state. These experiences provide opportunities to practice appropriate travel behaviors, social skills, and public behaviors while learning in a variety of real-world environments. Participation in field trips is determined on an individual basis, and some clients may not be eligible based on their specific needs and treatment goals.

As technology becomes increasingly embedded in children’s lives, many young adults are missing valuable opportunities to socialize and develop essential interpersonal and networking skills. We offer older children opportunities to participate in social groups that build communication, confidence, and the practical skills needed for successful adult life.

While most clinics focus solely on core areas such as reading, math, and writing, we also incorporate science-based experiments and age-appropriate learning experiences for our clients. This approach encourages curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and a broader love of learning.

We are not an organized sports team or affiliated with any formal league, team competition, or team apparel program. Instead, we offer sports-based learning opportunities for our clients. Through these activities, clients learn the rules of different sports, how to work as a team, demonstrate appropriate team behaviors, build coordination, fine and gross motor, and develop social skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Our intensive 3-month reading program, offered periodically throughout the year, is designed to provide clients with a strong foundation in reading at any stage of their academic journey. As technology becomes more common in homes and schools, many children are losing opportunities to develop fluent reading skills. This program focuses on building decoding, comprehension, fluency, and confidence to support lifelong literacy success.

As computers and phones become a larger part of daily life, many children are losing the vital skills of handwriting and cursive writing. We provide our clients with intensive writing and cursive programs designed to develop legibility, fine motor control, written expression, and confidence in these important lifelong skills.

Throughout our sessions, we incorporate arts and crafts to help clients develop fine and gross motor skills while encouraging creativity and self-expression. These engaging activities also support attention, following directions, problem-solving, and confidence building.
